ESMERALDA¹S TANGO & TAPAS presentsŠ the 3rd in this fascinating series---

MEET THE MUSIC!*

Of DI SARLI, D¹ARIENZO, CANARO, PUGLIESE, TANTURI, TROILO, LAURENZ, FRESEDO,
DONATO, BIAGI & all their friends!
An informal tango music salon designed to help you discover & appreciate the
great orchestras of tango‹and recognize their individual styles and special
contributions.

Introduced by DJ ILENE DE WOODSTOCK
7:30-8:30pm 

(*NOTE: for those just want to dance, regular dancing continues
uninterrupted in the front from 7:30 to midnight.)

Learn more through listening, discussion and dancingŠand improve your
dancing through this careful listening.

€Regular sessions will be scheduled for Meet the Music.  And as part of this
on-going series, JOHNNY TABLADA will offer a monthly talk focusing on the
history of Argentina, Buenos Aires,
the music, literature, people, and places of the tango.
€ILENE¹S thrust is to help us recognize the greatest orchestras and singers
so to this end she is preparing materials to pass out and special
reasonably-priced c.d.s to use at home for further study.

 At 73rd St & 1st Ave, SW corner.  $10 admission includes music salon,
milonga, and classes.
6:30 JEAN FUNG teaches the pre-intermediate class in the Party Room,
also at 6:30, I teach the beginners class in the Front Bar area.

Doors open at 5:30 --Please try the delicious tapas with the COMPLIMENTARY
DRINK offered by Session 73 in the café until 8:30 (or later if you are
attending the music salon.)
