Registration was opened to students a week ago. Since that time almost
200 students have signed up.

WE WANT YOU TO COME, AND WE STILL HAVE SPACE!
But not a lot, and we can't throw just registration open or we would be full
in a few hours, and people would buy classes faster than we can update their
availability on the website, and possibly end up with a program that's the
wrong level.
In order to take your signups, we'll have to route you through the signup
queue. We'll find you there in the next couple of days.

THERE ARE SPOTS FOR LEADERS, AND A FEW FOR FOLLOWERS
It is likely that more spots will open up when some people cancel or fail to
pay.
Also, the remaining spots for leaders remain to be sorted out according to
pass and level, duplicates cancelled, etc, which is an ongoing effort as
registration proceeds. There is also still some space for the milongas.


PLEASE USE THE SIGNUP QUEUE. We have some spots for followers and a fair
number for leaders. It's worth it to get on the Signup Queue. The queue will
become the waiting list as our Fest fills up. Last year we were able to make
many people happy with a spot in our Fest.

UNIVERSITY TANGO IS BOOMING
We are sorry about this. We had expanded our capacity, offering 4 concurrent
classes
for many of the slots (last year, two concurrent), and we will let the
milongas get a good bit more crowded. We thought it would be enough to meet
the demand from students AND the general public but apparently student tango
is booming and as a university tango club we do have an obligation to let
our students sign up, and to not forget their friends at other schools
(there are close to 30 universities with tango clubs). Please do not send
angry emails. We do this for fun, and so do you.
