[Tango-A] [NA-E] NYC: Wednesday June 6 at CORAZON - Anton Gazenbeek

In the early days of tango, men practiced exclusively with each other to
prepare for dancing tango with women in the milongas. On June 6, renowned
tango historian Anton Gazenbeek brings this barrio tradition to life at
Corazon. He will be presenting an exclusive workshop in leaders' technique,
an amazing opportunity for anyone who leads or wants to better understand
leaders. Later in the evening he will be giving a rare performance with
Sergio Segura, in the style of the all-male turn-of-the-century practicas.


Corazon is at Dance Studio 101, at 101 Lafayette Street (second Floor)
1 block south of the Canal Street Station (N, R, W, 6)
Parking is free and plentiful.


Beginner class: 8:00pm
Worksho with Anton: 8:30pm
Dancing: 9:30pm 'til 12:30am, with a performance.

Snacks are served all night and the cash bar offers cold drinks for the
thirsty!

Admission: $ 12

Anton is a guest of this year's New York Tango Festival, but this workshop
and performance are only on June 6 at Corazon – a taste of Buenos Aires in
New York!
