Dear Tango Aficionados,
 
If you knew of an intensive, week-long tango training program in Buenos
Aires so high-quality that it generated CONTINUOUS repeat attendance from a
growing list of discerning tangueros and tangueras – leading some to repeat
the program two, three, even four times in three years – wouldn’t you want
to consider participating, to learn what all the excitement is about?

Dance of the Heart is happy to announce that online registration is now
available for the TangoIntensivos™ in Buenos Aires with Luciana Valle this
October and November!

We're proud to say that we've been working closely with Luciana since 1998,
and we've been organizing events for her since 2002.  These programs are the
culmination of our years of working together on the art of dancing Argentine
Tango with style, grace and passion.  Luciana's passionate nature is
apparent to anyone who meets her!  Affectionately known as "Hurricane Lucy",
her energetic personality, keen insight, and masterful awareness of tango
structure is combined with detailed experience in the in-depth technique of
BOTH the leader and follower roles in tango.  Her worldwide renown as a
teacher was recently enhanced with a feature teaching spot in the annual
CITA festival in Buenos Aires this past March.

A key element in the success of the TangoIntensivos™ is the staff we have
assembled to be your partners.  Luciana's students in Buenos Aires, many of
whom are tango teachers in their own right, assist us in providing you with
the kind of partnering experience for this material that can be very hard to
find among your fellow students.  No longer do you have to worry about
whether yourpartners will be able to work with the material - all your
partners are on staff, so we KNOW what they know!

We will have a limited enrollment for the popular "staff partner"
option (only 20 student slots available in each session!).  This year, we've
delayed the advance registration deadline to September 22nd, but we are
already getting feedback from those already registered that the best housing
options are already getting scarce - so don't delay your planning too much!
Some of you have already repeated the standard TangoIntensivo™ offering (as
many as three times!), so we want to make sure you get first chance to
repeat again, or to advance your level to the "TangoIntensivo Al Cuadrado™"
(Intensive Squared!)

TangoIntensivo™ "A": October 22-27, 2007

TangoIntensivo™ "B": October 29-November 3, 2007

NOTE: Because the original "TangoIntensivo™" material has expanded beyond
the original design, we have divided what was once covered in a single week
into "A" and "B" sessions.  These are independent sessions, covering
different subjects, but addressing the material to students at the same
level. For maximum benefit, take both programs, but each program is also
designed to stand alone.

Tango Intensivo™ Al Cuadrado (Intensive "Squared") - Nov. 8-14

This is the "top-of-the-line" offering for TangoIntensivo™ graduates and
other advanced dancers familiar with Luciana's approach (see below).

US$595 per program before September 22nd
US$650 per program September 23rd or later
Includes instruction, practicas, and staff partner for these events.
Does not include airfare, lodging, or meals (but we can help you with these
after registration, if given enough lead time!)

STRUCTURE:
Our acclaimed innovative approach to the tango learning experience involves
top-level instruction and staff partners trained in Luciana's approach to
assist your efforts toward tango mastery.  In six days, you will be
accompanied in twenty-five hours of lessons and practicas by one of our
staff assistants, who hone their skills in the dance hotspots of Buenos
Aires and in classes with Luciana and her partners.  Some of these
assistants are finishing their third year of working with us, so we have
managed to form quite a team!

people, some of whom plan on signing up for more than one event! We're
determined to insure the quality of these events in the face of growth
pressures in order to maintain its high reputation, even though we're forced
to limit its size as a result.

Please note that the most advanced program option, the "Intensivo al
Cuadrado", is limited to those of you who have taken the TangoIntensivo™
before, or for very advanced dancers familiar with Luciana's approach. In
general, it is not sufficient to gain entry to the "Al Cuadrado" program
merely to have problems in scheduling a trip during the earlier dates of the
other programs. Luciana is very protective of the level of this advanced
program, and wants to make sure of the skills and preparation of the
participants. If you have not already studied at an advanced level with
Luciana in her many workshops, this program may not be available to you.
Please contact us for eligibility notification if you are not a
TangoIntensivo™ graduate.

In the "TangoIntensivo al Cuadrado™", Luciana plans to go deeper into all
the material already covered, intensifying our ability to bring our current
vocabulary to bear when we are improvising.  She also plans to share her
examinations of the latest ideas currently being explored by the actively
innovative dancers in Buenos Aires at places like the acclaimed "El Motivo"
practicas.
