Los Angeles,  July 14th

Casa de Practica is delighted to announce the upcoming presentation  
of the incomparable Guillermina Quiroga, with the talented Mr.  
Claudio Villagra, Saturday July 14th.   We are honored they have  
chosen to perform at Milonga Los Amigos.

Guillermina has been directing, choreographing and starring in her  
new theatrical show, “Historias Breves” which opened in Buenos Aires  
two years ago and premiered in NY last year, followed by her star  
appearances with ‘Forever Tango’.

Guillermina is widely considered by most Tango masters in Argentina  
to be the most gifted and charismatic dancer of her generation, with  
few peers, male or female, in her profession.  She has starred in or  
created several of the great tango shows of the last 17 years, and  
has remained at the pinnacle of this eternal dance.  Her legendary  
reputation has made her the standard by which all other female Tango  
performers are judged today, and has inspired a new generation of  
tangueras to ever-higher levels of achievement.

This is a rare opportunity for us on the West Coast to witness  
Guillermina’s brilliance and formidable repertoire up close with her  
partner Claudio Villagra, and to learn from a master’s life at the  
Milonga and on the stage.  Not to be missed if you appreciate tango  
at its highest form!

In addition to the special performance at Milonga Los Amigos,  
Guillermina & Claudio will be conducting at least two weekends of  
special workshops:

Saturday & Sunday, July 14th & 15th, ‘07
&
Saturday & Sunday, July 21st & 22nd, ‘07

Classes start at 2:00pm, each class 1 1/2 hrs. duration, $35 ea.
