MARK YOUR CALENDARS!!!

MEET THE MUSIC SESSIONS with DJ ILENE continue...

SUNDAYS, APRIL 15, APRIL 22, MAY 13, MAY 20.
These tango 'music appreciation' sessions have been playing to a large and
lively audience, helping dancers identify the great
"orquestas tipicas" while providing fascinating insights into this music.
Ilene prepares materials to pass out and special
reasonably-priced c.d.s to use at home for further study.

BEGINNING SUNDAY MAY 6TH, music collector, true milonguero and dancer
extraordinaire, Johnny Tablada, will begin a monthly "History of Tango'
program, focusing on the history of Buenos Aires, the music, literature,
people, and places of the tango, based on the curriculum offered by the
"Academia Nacional de Tango" in Buenos Aires. (This is the only
world-re-known academy offering a B.S. in tango!)

(REMEMBER the milonga continues as usual for those just wishing to dance)

Session's doors open at 5:30 --Please try the delicious tapas with the
COMPLIMENTARY DRINK offered by Session 73 in the café until 8:30 (or later
if you are attending the music salon.)

Hope to see many of you this Sunday! Again, Happy Holidays and much joyous
celebrating---not to say, dancing,
Lucille

PS. My joke:
Question: Do you know the difference between the atheist and agnostic?
Answer: The atheist doesn't get any holidays and the agnostic doesn't know
if he gets them or not.
