QuinTango appears in Ames, Iowa,  on Saturday, October
28, at 7:30 pm under the auspices of the Ames
Town&Gown Chamber Music Association.   The program, at
 Ames City Auditorium,  includes a mix of traditional
and new tango, including the Golden Age masterpieces A
Evaristo Carriego, Inspiracion, El Dia Que Me Quieras
and Piazzolla's Fuga y Misterio, Balada para un Loco,
and Adios Nonino.    Concert includes guest dancers
Carina Losano and Pablo Repun.   Tickets for the
performance are available at

 Advanced Tango Figures & Sequences Vol.  2 continues the Todaro-Bravo System with eight more challenging yet fun  figures complete with instruction on the man's and woman's roles.

Mariana Dragone is a very popular and much-loved teacher, highly 
respected in the San Francisco
Bay Area tango community.  She performed for give year with El Indio

Buenos Aires.  She has also worked with the late Hernan Obispo, and 
Fabrizio Forti, and also
appeared on stage with the late Carlos Gavito, Leon Geico, Mercedes 
Sosa and Victor Heredia.
Mariana has performed and taught in Argentina, France, Germany, 
Greece, Switzerland, Spain,
Japan, China, and through the US - recently partnering Chicho 
Frumboli in Sacramento.

$500 CASH costume contest and the most scariest haunted  walk through the
