Celebrate the winter holidays with hot tango in historic St Louis!
This weekend will provide 4 days of not-to-be missed classes
and dancing in a friendly and intimate environment.

This is a small festival with enrollment strictly limited to
100 participants (including milongas) and gender balanced.
The atmosphere is informal and relaxed, with an emphasis on
dancing.

The festival has developed a reputation as a "boutique festival"
with a high quality of instruction and great dancing for a limited
number of serious dancers from around the country. In addition, a
special class by Jaimes Friedgen will be offered for teachers only.

No beginner level classes will be offered.

Last year we had participants come from over 20 different states
as well as from Canada and Germany, with 1/3 of the participants
tango instructors.

Pre-registration required. Registration will be closed when we reach
100 participants.

Cost: $130 festival pass (all milongas, all practicas, 6 classes,
refreshments, pizza, beer and wine).

Full-time students: $65!

Currently we have registrations from Ann Arbor, Atlanta, Baltimore,
Chicago, Denver, Indianapolis, Champaign-Urbana, Cinncinnati,
KC, LA, NYC, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Seattle, Tampa, Washington DC,
and other cities. Don't miss out!

Some comments from the 2005 festival:

I want to thank both of you for a great workshop weekend.
It was a very nice manageable number of people. The teachers
were great and the dancers were fantabulous. I don't recall
ever having so many great dances as I did that weekend.
- Pat (Ann Arbor)

I wanted to let you know again how much I enjoyed myself in
St. Louis. I enjoyed the laid back hospitality and the
opportunity to meet people and get to know others better.
The classes were great and the atmosphere was warm and cozy,
and I carried with me some memorable dances.
- Kristen (Tampa)

Your festival was great! I had a wonderful time. The festival
seemed well planned and almost everything went off without a
hitch. 2 quick things I would try to maintain as you plan next
years: 1) gender balance...it's so nice to see organizers who
value gender balance. This is a great way to distinguish your
festival from others 2) keep it small. I can tell you that
bigger is not always better..
- Jerry (Portland)

We had a great time in St Louis!
- Ellen (Providence)

I really enjoyed the event and it is me the one who is so thankful:
beautiful people, beautiful dances and beautiful venue. I specially
enjoyed the intimacy of the whole experience. I think you were very
generous throughout many details.
- Tomas (Buenos Aires, Montreal)
