*New Jersey Tango Extravaganzas Co-Producers and Artistic Directors 
Carolina Zokalski and Diego Di Falco,* have achieved a place of 
prominence as one of the most critically acclaimed couples in the world 
of Argentine Tango. After more than 7 years of experience as 
professional dancers, they joined the cast of the original Broadway 
production of FOREVER TANGO in 1995. At the age of 20 they became the 
youngest tango dancers in the history of American Musical Theater.

Their personal efforts contributed to the shows Broadway triumph in June 
1997 and maintained this competitive position for over fourteen months. 
The couple was nominated for a Tony Award for "Best Choreography*" and 
the artistic image of Diego Di Falco became the symbol of Forever Tango 
on Broadway. His image was showcased on all the major billboards, 
reviews and promotional materials.

*Public Broadcastings well know production of **/TANGO MAGIC/* showcased 
this couple as principle choreographers and featured dancers*.* This 
programs unique look at Argentine Tango also featured Pablo Ziegler and 
the Quintet for New Tango along with several of the top tango couples in 
the world. They also perform a version of the show at Carnegie Hall in 
2000, and brought it with rave reviews to the Umbria Jazz Festival in 
Orvieto, Italy in 2001.

Carolina and Diego have been promoting, performing and teaching tango 
throughout the world in over fifty cities. They are part of a todays 
artistic community that has brought about the amazing */renaissance of 
tango/*. Carolina and Diego are one of the very few tango couples who 
can produce, direct, perform, choreograph and teach comfortably anywhere 
in the world at all levels.
For over 5 years they have organized and directed one of the top tours 
in tango; The Buenos Aires Tango Experience. This unique event combines 
a skillfully constructed seminar along with tourist activities in Buenos 
Aires. They have taken the same skillful professional approach in 
organizing a successful tango festival in the United States, The New 
Jersey Tango Extravaganza.

In 2001, they produced their second instructional video series called 
titled *One Step Further*. This series has sold over 5000 copies to date.

Diego started dancing at the age of four. This naturally gifted man was 
guided from a very early age by the great Tango Masters: Antonio Todaro, 
Pupi Castello, Miguel Balmaceda, Pepito Avellandeda and Juan Carlos 
Copes. Under their tutelage, and with his unique creativity, 
sensitivity, and tremendous dedication, Diego has become world famous as 
a master dancer, choreographer, and instructor of tango.

Carolina has a background in Spanish dance and Argentine Folklore. As a 
young girl, she received a scholarship from Juan Carlos Copes to perform 
with other young artists. She was also featured with Robert Duval in The 
National Geographic Society documentary TANGO! In 1991 she was invited 
to join the National Folkloric Ballet of Argentina and her tango career 
started soon after she met Diego in 1990. Carolina's artistry, elegance 
and grace has earned her international fame as a performer and 
instructor of the tango

continue to earn international acclaim for their elegant, and 
technically demanding performances, as well as their wide-ranging 
program of tango instruction.

*Miriam Larici and Hugo Patyn** *

Miriam Larici and Hugo Patyn's partnership has exploded the tango world, 
and is now united in the very soul of tango. They created their "World 
Tour" in 2001, and became know as the worlds most famous tango couple. 
Audiences just love them, and together they received raved reviews in 
Atlantic City for their performances in "Mambo Madness" in the summer of 
2001. Hugo and Miriam joined Mario and Daniel Celario in the production 
of "Laugh and Tango" from 2001 through 2003. In Las Vegas 2002 they 
created the choreography for the show "Follies Berger" at the Tropicana. 
In 2003 they were invited to perform at the Hollywood Bowl with the Los 
Angles Philharmonic Orchestra.

Ms Miriam Larici was introduced to the world of dance at the ago of five 
and has trained in Classical Ballet, Jazz, Flamenco, Acrobatic and 
Tango. Ms Larici, began her international reputation as an extraordinary 
performer, instructor and choreographer. Her premiere performance 
included tours with several tango companies in Japan. In Argentina she 
danced roles in the Broadway shows "42nd Street", and the famous musical 
"Me and My Girl", where she was received by audiences with standing 
ovations. Ms Larici's first Hollywood movie was the "Mambo Kings". She 
continued to delight viewers on numerous Argentinean, Mexico, England, 
Canada, US, and Japanese TV programs. Famous as the image of the show 
"Forever Tango", Miriam mesmerized viewers and critics with her artistic 
elegance. Her truest aspiration took her on a tour of the worlds most 
distinguished theaters. She was invited to perform for a performing 
series with the Boston Pops Orchestra, nationally broadcasted by PBS. It 
was at that performance, the acclaimed dancer Leslie Caron stated "...if 
I had to choose among tango dancers in the world, these two would be my 
option." Miriam attained one of her childhood dreams when she danced at 
the "Colon Theater" , in Buenos Aires, in "Forever Tango". This was the 
first and only performance in that country. She became a "Broadway Star" 
after performing two years at the Marquis and Walter Kerr Theaters on 
Broadway.

Ms Larici is an exquisite dancer illuminating stages around the world. 
Her contributions as a brilliant dancer to the performing arts are 
unprecedented.

Hugo Patyn was born in Campana, Buenos Aires. His passion for dance 
started when he was only four years old. He trained in Argentine 
folklore dances, modern dance, partners’ technique, Flamenco, social and 
stage tango. At a very young age he showed his ability by being awarded 
the best distinctions in: the Argentina National Contes "Hugo Del 
Carril" and "National Festive of Cosquin". Mr. Patyn was invited to 
perform in the highly acclaimed Tango Shows of Buenos Aires: 
"Michelangelo", and "Tango Mundo". By his perseverance of setting the 
highest of goals for his artistry, he performed with the most famous 
tango orchestras: The Soloist of D'Arienzo, Sexteto Tango, Buenos Aires 
Tango Orchestras of Garello and Garcia, Noberto Ramos Sexteto, Ensemble 
Hyperion and Quinteto Osvaldo Requena. Through these performances he 
captured audience's hearts and created magical fantasies for their 
pleasure. Mr. Patyn was chosen to appear in the Carlos Saura's Oscar 
nominated film "Tango" in 1993. His earliest dream was to perform on 
Broadway which became true in 1998. In that year he was requested to 
join the "Forever Tango" cast of dancers in New York City. He toured 
extensively in Japan, Korea, Portugal, Ital, Mexico and major cities in 
the United States and Canada.

Mr. Patyn is reviewed as visionary to audiences around the world. His 
technical studies in theater, aided him in writing his own highly 
successful production; "Tal Como Es... Tango". This production was 
performed in Buenos Aires in 1999, 2000, and 2001 under his total 
direction. It is through his artistic choreography, costuming, make-up 
and directorship that he leave his audience spellbound.

Fernanda Ghi and Guillermo Merlo are verifiably one of the most 
prominent couples in the world of Argentine Tango. They are renowned for 
their style, interpretation, choreography, command of the stage and 
clear teaching technique. They have a unique quality to convey to their 
audience and their students the scope of tango emotions from intense 
passion to the comic.

The level of their talent and enormous creativity is evident in the 
productions which they conceived, produced, choreographed and starred 
in: 2000 - Tango Dreams, the show, 2003 - Adam & Eve, 2004 Malena (a 
fusion of Tango and Flamenco).

Fernanda & Guillermo opened these shows in theaters in Miami, Fl; 
Orlando, Israel, Los Angeles, CA; Long Beach, CA' and Tokyo, Japan. 
Their Longest run was in Tokyo, where they sold out the theater every 
night for six weeks. in 2002, eight weeks in 2003 and 2004. In 
recognition of their superb artistry, they were invited to perform in 
concert with the New Mexico Symphony and the Long Beach Symphony 
orchestras in 2003.

Individually or as a couple, the dynamic talent and achievements of 
Fernanda and Guillermo are the result of many years of study, 
preparation and dedication. Although already studying to have a career 
in classical ballet and modern dance, Fernanda began dancing Tango at 
the tender age of 13. Soon her passion for Argentine Tango superseded 
her other professionals goals. On the stage dancing Argentine Folklorico 
and modern dance, Guillermo was only 12 when he encountered Tango. Not 
destined to meet for another ten years, Fernanda and Guillermo already 
had in command an intense need and desire to dance Tango

Featured dancers in the PBS special "Tango Magic", Orpheus Orchestra and 
Pablo Ziegler, a Sony Production. First Place in the Worlds Argentine 
Tango Championships, Miami, 1999. Tony Award, Best Choreography "Forever 
Tango" 1997,1998.

In 2000, Fernanda & Guillermo made six volumes of Instructional videos 
that are consistently in demand. Available the video of the show "Tango 
Dreams" when it played in Los Angeles.
Procurer, Rules and Syllabus Coordinators for the International Tango 
Competition, WCARTER. The mission is to promote and set forth a high 
standard of dance. To encourage the promotion of the Argentine Tango as 
an art form.

Since 1998, each year Fernanda & Guillermo perform and teach in over 
thirty cities in the U.S., Canada, Europe and Asia. They reside in the 
United States

Sandra Bootz and Gabriel Ortega*

Sandra Bootz and Gabriel Ortega have studied with well-known dancers 
Carlos Rivarola, Antonio Todaro, and Mingo Pugliese. Together, they have 
performed at the most prestigious tango houses in Argentina, including 
"El Querandí" and "La Ventana", as well as at the largest theatres in 
Buenos Aires such as Teatro Colon and Teatro Cervantes.

In August 1996 they entered the famous Broadway show "Forever Tango" 
touring the USA and Canada for 18 months.

Recently they have formed the new and exciting dance company 
"Corporacion Tango". We welcome this elegant couple to their first U.S. 
Festival.

Between 1990 and 1996, they were members of the famous Ballet Folklorico 
Nacional de Argentina, and in 1992, they were part of the El Sexteto 
Mayor and La Orquesta de Berlingieri troupes that toured Spain, 
Portugal, and Bulgaria. Later, they traveled to Columbia, Brazil, and 
Chile for special appearances on television. Recently, the couple 
appeared in the Alan Parker film, Evita.

In 1996 they participated in Alan Parker' film "Evita" while also 
performing regularly at the Bauen Hotel with Oscar D’Auria' Orchestra in 
the "Afro Tango" show.

They are part of the National Foklorical Ballet original cast, 
performing arround the country and Colon theatre in Buenos Aires.
