[Tango-A] updates to Mariana Dragone and Jaimes Friedgen schedule

The Berkeley Tango Studio Presents Classes in Argentine Tango
"Classico  and  Nuevo"  with
Mariana Dragone (May 16-23) & Jaimes Friedgen (May 19-22)

Mariana is well known and beloved in our tango community, having taught here 
many times in the past including Nora's Tango Week twice.  She has also 
taught at the Portland Tango Festival and at festivals in Buenos Aires. 
Mariana is at the forefront of the new generation of female tango dancers. 
She has partnered in the past with "El Indio," the late Hernan Obispo, 
Fabrizio Forti, and most recently with Chicho Frumboli at the Sacramento Neo 
Tango Festival.

Jaimes Friedgen has recently returned from teaching in Australia, New 
Zealand and Asia.  He has extensive experience in tango, theatre and other 
forms of dance and is a popular teacher and performer.  He has taught in 
festivals throughout the U.S.  He is particularly known for his musicality, 
creativity and "fierce animalistic intensity."

Schedule
Wednesday, May 17
7:30-9 p.m. Guest teacher for the beginner series (this will be the 5th 
class in a series of 6) at the Claremont Hotel, 41 Tunnel Rd., $15/ single

10:30 p.m.  Demo at Cellspace Milonga:  Mariana and  Homer Ladas, 2050 
Bryant, SF.

Thursday, May 18      Mariana teaching beginning and intermediate 
classes7-8:45 p.m.  prior to the Mariposa Argentine tango milonga at the 
Verdi Club, 2424 Mariposa, SF.  Milonga hosted by Christy Cote and Victor 
Meneses.

Mariana and James Friedgen teaching together until the 22nd:
Friday, May 19           8-9 p.m.   All levels class prior to  Monte Cristo 
milonga   Demo afterwards.  136 Missouri, SF.  Milonga hosted by Gary and 
Nirmala.

Saturday, May 20   200 Grand Ave, Oakland, CA.
Intermediate classes:
1-2:15 p.m.                  Musicality- the 3 essential elements
2:30-3:45 p.m.            Improving the Quality of Movement in turns, 
changes of direction                                               and ochos
4-5:15 p.m.                  Creation - 4 tools to expand your vocabularity
$25/ class or all three for $65 with pre-payment by May 15th.  $28/ class or

8-9  p.m.  A Deeper Look at the Embrace in Walking and in Ochos, all levels 
class prior to Golden Gate milonga, 1 Yacht Club Rd, SF.  Milonga hosted by 
Glenn Corteza and Julian Ramil.  Demo later with Jaimes.

12 midnight  Demo at Metro Milonga with live music by Trio Garufa.  300 de 
Haro, SF.  Milonga hosted by Andrea and Homer.

$10 for class and practica

Privates with Mariana available $95/hour + $10/hr studio rental.   Series of 
privates with Mariana 4 hrs for $320 (includes rental fee).    Please call
