CLASSES & LECTURE - FRIDAY JULY 28TH:
Dance Manhattan, 39 W 19 St 5th floor, (5-6 Aves), NYC
This is the last day to take class with Gloria Y Eduardo (Canyenque And
Milonga) and Junior (Jumps). What a day! Get hooked up with Mariela's
Connection and Discover your Style with Daniela Y Armando.  A festival first
­ (possibly in the world?) Same Sex Partners with Paul in the wildcard
track.
Remember to send your not yet obsessed by tango friends to the amazing local
line-up of teachers of the foundation classes. Something for everyone from
walking together( Carina Moeller), to going slow (Willie Feuer) and
musicality (Thomas Reale)
Classes run from 10:00 am - 5:30pm at Dance Manhattan, 39 West 19th St. (5th
& 6th Aves.), 5th floor, (212) 807 0802.

Tango History Presentation by Anton Gazenbeek.
1:30 ­ 2:30pm
The life of Virulazo and Elvira. Come and see priceless film images of
Virulazo and Elvira, legendary tango dancers. Performance images will be
shown from as early as 1961. Informal clips of their classes and private
lessons will be shown as well to give viewers an idea of their special
personalities. A lecture not to be missed! Anton Gazenbeek is a
world-renowned tango historian and anthropologist with many years of in
depth research and investigation into the roots of tango dance, history, and
culture.
