Dear Tango Aficionados,

There are a lot of tango events to choose from, and only so much time and
money to go around. As you decide how to invest your limited resources for
tango, wouldn't it be good to investigate a week-long program so
high-quality that its customers have repeatedly returned to Buenos Aires to
stay with the program two, three, or even FOUR times in only two years?
(That's two, three or four SEPARATE round-trip flights to Buenos Aires, just
to make the stakes clear!) What kind of program produces that kind of
loyalty from discerning tango aficionados? Here's your chance to find out,
before it fills up again!

Dance of the Heart is happy to announce that online registration through
PayPal is now available for the Tango Intensivos™ in Buenos Aires with
Luciana Valle in February/March 2007! We’re again limiting enrollment for
this round, due to the shortage of qualified staff partners, so visit
www.danceoftheheart.com and secure your place as soon as you can.

(For the curious, class photos from our sessions in October/November 2006
are also online, along with customer comments that may shed some light on
this unusually high retention rate!)

Our programs feature the brilliant teaching of LUCIANA VALLE, a peerless
master of the underlying structure of tango, from both the leader's and
follower's perspective. Affectionately known as "Hurricane Lucy" because of
her high-energy teaching style, she was an early pioneer with Gustavo
Naveira, Fabian Salas, and "Chicho" Frumboli in the "Tango Investigation
Group" at Cochabamba 444 that created the contemporary framework for
understanding the structure of tango. Her penetrating analysis and deep
understanding of these core ideas is reflected both in her peerless teaching
style, in her insightful ability to rapidly clarify the tango of her
students, and in her own luminously radiant social tango dancing. Over the
last decade she has built a reputation in Buenos Aires, in the United
States, in Europe, and throughout the tango world for clear, powerful
presentation of tango in a warm and engaging style.

The partners you will be working with have been chosen by Luciana from among
her many students to provide the kind of partnering you'll need to be able
to progress through this material as fast as possible. Luciana's advanced
classes in Buenos Aires, and her acclaimed Monday night "El Motivo"
practicas at Villa Malcolm, serve as a primary source for us in finding our
talented young staff (see class pictures at www.danceoftheheart.com ).

Due to the increasing demand, we are segmenting our offerings into two
separate sessions, both at a similar level:

Intensivo™ I – Feb. 19-24, 2007 $595 before January 15th, $650 later (if
available)
For those with a comfortable fluency with dancing the basics, and who want
to move beyond conventional workshops and festival classes through sustained
intense work with a great staff under a brilliant teacher. A 25-hour
program over six days (half-day midweek) incorporating lessons and practicas
dancing exclusively with our staff partners.

“Intensivo™ II – Feb. 26–March 3, 2007 $595 before January 15th, $650
later (if available)
A different program than Intensivo(tm) I, with different material in a
similar structure, but requiring a similar level of proficiency to
Intensivo(tm) I: a 25-hour program over six days (half-day midweek)
incorporating lessons and practicas dancing exclusively with our staff
partners.

For those of you who have taken one of our previous Intensivos(tm) already:
Taken together, these programs include much more material than any of the
previous one-week programs at this level. Except for those of you who took
the "Intensivo Al Cuadrado" last month, you'd repeat material at a level
similar to the level of the program you're familiar with. More advanced
programs that will be introduced later this year will require BOTH these
programs as a prerequisite, so if you're aiming for those programs, be sure
to take at least Intensivo II.

SPECIAL: ATTEND BOTH AND SAVE! $1145 for both programs by January 15th,
$1250 later (if available)

SPECIAL DEAL FOR ORGANIZERS
Bring a minimum of five new people from your community to one or more of our
Intensivo programs and receive up to a $500 discount on your own
registration! Just let us know their names, and have them mention you
during their registration.

Don’t delay your registration – we’ve already got registrations from several
people, ALL of whom are signing up for BOTH programs!

For complete information, please visit our website at
www.danceoftheheart.com and click on Tango Intensivos™.  Paypal payment by

notification for this first-come-first-served set of events. Your purchase

are your responsibility (although we can help you make some decisions with
these!).

Don’t miss these opportunities to study with a brilliant teacher, work with
great partners, and share the sights, sounds and feelings of the home of
tango with a vibrantly enthusiastic group of fellow tango dancers!

If you have any questions about the programs, please don't hesitate to

October/November 2007, contact us and we'll put you on the list - those who
express interest are offered first-access notification of programs as their
registration opens up.

We look forward to hearing from you ASAP!
