*Seattle**'s **10**th Tango Cabaret Returns to the Century Ballroom in
Seattle.*

Seattle, WA July 20, 2006 – On August 11 and 12, Seattle's 10th Tango
Cabaret hits the stage at the Century Ballroom.  An international cast of 8
couples will create an evening of spectacular tango performances, fine
dining, and dancing until 1:00am.

The show is the creation of Michelle Badion, Seattle's most prolific Tango
producer, dancer and instructor. It will feature all styles of Argentine
Tango, danced by 8 different couples; Silvina Valz will return from
Argentina and will be dancing with Jaimes Friedgen, Carlos and Tova Moreno
from Boston will MC as well as perform, Mario Consiglieri and Anabella
Diaz-Hojman from Argentina, Homer Ladas and Carrie Whipple from San
Francisco, Somer Surgit and Agape Pappas from Chicago, will all be dancing
unique variations of the Nuevo Style. Local Dancers will be Evan Wallace and
Michelle Badion, Greg Rolnick and Lera Thompson, Michael Tennant and Carol
Smith, and beautiful vocalist Ellaina Lewis.

The show will explore all types of Tango from traditional to modern
and Tango fusion. Each performance will express tango in a different way
creating passion, glamour, humor, and intrigue, fascinating the audience
with the power and beauty of Tango.

This event is much more than just a show.  The historic Century Ballroom
offers a delicious menu for dining before the show, great atmosphere, and a
full bar.  Friday, after the show, DJ Lorenzo will continue the evening with
Tango music so everyone can enjoy the dancing, until 1:00am.  Saturday the
show will be followed by a beginning salsa lesson and a night of great salsa
music and dance. The show is also part of a tango weekend of classes and
events sponsored by Clay Nelson, www.claysdancestudio.com.
