<div>I have received a question from someone unable to attend asking if the undergraduates will share apartments with graduate residents. The fact is we do not know. From what I understand, they would like to keep them together but no final decisions have
been made, even if they will come to Tang.

<div>We might have an opportunity to get something for hosting the undergrads for up to 2 years. The last time it was discussed they were <font size="2">thinking of putting 25-30 undergrads (cutting </font>the<font size="2"> initial proposal of 60). We will
also house GRTs and perhaps the Head of House which may take additional beds off-line. They are interested in hearing what we need in return (new common space - perhaps the entire 12th floor; new laundry location; Heat controlled rooms, etc...). </font></div>

<div>It would be great to hear what you, the residents feel this community needs. Hope you can make it. To clarify: The meeting tonight (9PM 24th floor lounge) is the internal "let's discuss what we need" discussion and the meeting Wednesday (5:30PM 24th
floor lounge) is with Dean Suzy Nelson and Jag Patel. They would like to hear from continuing and first years.</div>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Tang Hall is at the verge of a critical change. As some of you might have heard,
<a href="UrlBlockedError.aspx" target="_blank">New House will be undergoing renovations in the next academic year</a>. Tang has been approached as one of the dorms to host ~30 New House residents for the next 2 academic years.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">This is a significant change for the graduate community at Tang Hall and we need to carefully weigh the pros and cons as we undergo this transition. We believe in showing solidarity and
would love to support the undergraduate community in any way we can. At the same time, we are also concerned about how this would affect our dorm culture and availability of on-campus housing for graduate students.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">The Tang government will be meeting with Dean of Student Life, Suzy Nelson on Wednesday (not Thursday as Dawn accidentally mentioned at the Brunch), Nov 16<sup>th</sup> at 5:30 PM to put
forward these concerns. Before that, we want to know how you all feel about this change. We would like to invite you to an
<b>open meeting this Monday, Nov 14<sup>th</sup> at 9 PM in the 24<sup>th</sup> floor lounge</b> right after the International Film and Dessert Night. Please
