<b><u>Facilities</u></b></p>

<li><span style="font-size:10pt">Music room and 24th floor lounge: Most residents seem to be happy with these. With regard to the music room, please use the recently uploaded
<a href="http://tang.mit.edu/facilities/reservations/piano-room-booking/" target="_blank">
online calendar</a> to book the room. In case you find the piano out of tune, you can email tang-purchase@mit.edu and it will be rectified.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">Gym: Many people have complained about the lack of air conditioner / air circulation in the gym. Unfortunately because of the way Tang was built, it is very difficult and prohibitively expensive to install this in the subbasement.
However, we are constantly striving to make your gym experience more pleasurable. Towards this end, we are in the process of installing additional high air-flow fans for better circulation in the gym. We have also purchased a new audio system for your enjoyment,
which will be installed shortly.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">Pool table and ping-pong table: Please note that there are backup tips for the pool table available at the front desk, should existing ones be worn out. We are currently working on having a front desk check out system for sports
equipment and hence, make ping-pong paddles available to everyone.</span></li></ul>

<b><u>Social</u></b></p>

<li><span style="font-size:10pt">Few people have indicated that there should be more floor specific events. We agree with you there and in the coming year, we plan to organize more floor socials.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">We currently have a social every two weeks. We will soon start having “coffee hours” for Tang residents, which will further reduce the time gap between social events. </span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">People had some good suggestions for events and we have made note of them. Starting from summer, we will try to have new and different events which can make more people interested in attending.</span></li></ul>

<b><u>Sports</u></b></p>

<li><span style="font-size:10pt">Quite a few indicated that they would like to watch sports together with other Tang residents. We will consider screening of important games in Tang.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">We will also consider having sports social events in future to introduce people to new sports. Tang also has active participation in almost every sport in the Intra Mural (IM) games at MIT and we are always looking for people.

<b><u>IT</u></b></p>

<li><span style="font-size:10pt">We got numerous complaints about Wi-Fi in Tang. Rest assured that RCC has been duly notified more than once. We have also lodged a formal complaint over their lack of speed in getting back to us. Our housemasters have also been
informed, and I have recommended that they include complaints about Tang's Wi-Fi situation in their annual report to the Dean of Student Life. Beyond this, the best we can continue to do together is to report Wi-Fi connectivity issues using the online form,
which is linked on the Tang website. <br>
</span><span style="font-size:10pt"><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span> Tang, Westgate and Eastgate have been slated for improvements over the coming years. Unfortunately, that might not be within the timeframe that some of us
will be staying in Tang.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">We're also making improvements where we can! For example, we have now provided Wi-Fi access in the gym, we are working on improving our room booking systems to streamline reservations and bring in check out system for sports
equipment. As a government, we are also advocating for key card access for the gym and the piano room.</span></li></ul>

<b><u>Recycling</u></b></p>

<li><span style="font-size:10pt">Few residents have complained about the recycling situation. Though there is still room to promote the awareness of recycling among Tang residents, the bottleneck to improve the recycling condition in Tang is the recycling facility.
More frequent pick-up or more bins are choices that we keep negotiating with the house manager and we are trying to do our best.</span></li><li><span style="font-size:10pt">At this point we want to remind our residents that we have recycling bins outside the rear entrance of Tang, and in the Tang lobby.</span></li></ul>
