<div dir="ltr"><div>Dear Tang Residents,</div><div><br></div><div>It has come to our attention that some residents have been taking chairs and tables from the 24th floor lounge after being told not to by a THRA officer. We have also had incidents where residents took dumbbells from the gym home for personal use. These behaviors are unacceptable.</div>

<div><br></div><div>We would like to remind everyone that everything in the common areas in Tang Hall (lounge, gym, music room) belongs to Tang Hall and should not be “borrowed” for any period of time. If you have borrowed something, please return it immediately, so the rest of the Tang Hall community can use it. At this point, we will assume that the residents who took the items were not aware of our policy and will wait a couple days before treating it as a <b>theft of MIT property and reporting it to the police</b>. </div>

<div><br></div><div>Please also keep in mind that it is the responsibility of each and every one of us to preserve and care for our home. If you see anyone taking items from the common areas, please advise them to return the items. Also please make sure to report any inappropriate behavior to the THRA (<a href="mailto:tang-government@mit.edu">tang-government@mit.edu</a>) and the Housemasters (<a href="mailto:tang-housemasters@mit.edu">tang-housemasters@mit.edu</a>).</div>
