[StarCluster] EFS on starcluster?

I've been playing around with EFS for 2 weeks now and can say the IO performance is excellent, much better than a single SSD EBS volume. Luckily we run most of our hpc infrastructure in us-west-2 (Oregon) where EFS is available and so have begun trying to get cfn-cluster<https://github.com/awslabs/cfncluster> and elasticluster<https://github.com/gc3-uzh-ch/elasticluster> to use it through pre/post-install scripts.

I'll report back anything of interest.

John

I'm very interested in this myself and will pursue it further. Right now it's only available in Oregon but everything I have is in us-east.

Hi Robert,

I´m waiting for that too. The only concern now is that StarCluster is frozen on version 0.95.6 for a while and all enhancements are being done by users itself.
So, let´s ask for some tech dude to adjust the NFS share for EFS!

All best,

Sergio

Hello,

I am looking to use starcluster with EFS (Amazon's new Elastic File Store)
instead of EBS. Suggestions and pointers much appreciated.
