[StarCluster] building an ami corrupts the original reference machine?

Glad you got it working.  I had no idea about the difference between the 
two versions regarding AMI creation. For AMI creation, I find it easier 
to use the console. This way I can label and provide a detailed 
description of the AMIs I create and label their corresponding snapshots 
in the same way so that I have an easier time deleting them when they 
are no longer of use to me.
