[StarCluster] Hybrid Cluster

Hello,

Does anybody with real experience working with clusters based on mixed
instance types?
I need some help on this;

I´m trying to run a program on a simple scenario.

1. One Master node wtih the smallest instance type needed only to control
the queue.
2. Several Compute nodes with power to crash numbers.

When I run the cluster with the same type of instances, it works fine.
If I change the master, reducing it to a m1.small... it stops working..

If I configure the cluster to put the Master to rest, the queue doesn´t
work at all

(Oh yes.. I did all the stuff on config file..well, I think I did... :)

[cluster HybridUbuntu]
KEYNAME = MasterNode
CLUSTER_SIZE = 3
CLUSTER_USER = sgeadmin
CLUSTER_SHELL = bash
MASTER_IMAGE_ID = ami-1d069174
MASTER_INSTANCE_TYPE = t1.micro
NODE_IMAGE_ID = ami-411d8a28
NODE_INSTANCE_TYPE = cc1.4xlarge
PLUGINS = mpich2
DISABLE_QUEUE = True
PLUGINS = sge
VOLUMES = newave

#############################
## Configuring EBS Volumes ##
#############################
[volume newave]
VOLUME_ID = vol-a74259dc
MOUNT_PATH = /home

##############
## Plug-ins ##
##############
[plugin mpich2]
SETUP_CLASS = starcluster.plugins.mpich2.MPICH2Setup

[plugin sge]
SETUP_CLASS = starcluster.plugins.sge.SGEPlugin
MASTER_IS_EXEC_HOST = False

What I doing wrong? Any ideas?

All the best,

Sergio
