[StarCluster] Parallel filesystems

Ron,

I have a gluster plugin in our repo

https://github.com/bioteam/StarClusterPlugins

It just creates a distributed volume from the ephemeral disks. It doesn't
do anything advanced but it might be enough to get you  started.
