Snowriders,

Its time for the 2nd annual Stowe,Vermont ski trip brought to
you by the off campus housing office and MIT Snowriders.

The trip will be departing from the Sydney and Pacific Graduate Residence
on Saturday March 5th at 5:00 AM.

The granddaddy of all ski resorts, Stowe was featured in this years' new
Teton Gravity Research ski and snowboard movie "Soul
Purpose". Stowe is a must visit location for all New England
skiers and boarders.

The infamous Front Four (Starr, Goat, National and Lift Line) are
arguably the most extreme runs in the East. However, novice and
intermediate skiers and riders need not worry because there's an entire
mountain (Spruce Peak) criss-crossed with easygoing runs. And with the
longest average trail length in New England, be prepared to spend
some time on the mountain.

Best of all Stowe gets one the largest snowfall totals in the east. At
last report Stowe had received 3 feet of new snow in the last 7
days.

The cost for a lift ticket and transportation to the mountain is
$45/person.

Considering that the cost for a lift ticket alone is regularly $65 it's a
great deal.
