We are pleased to announce the official launch of the SIPB MySQL service. Anyone with MIT certificates may now go to http://sql.mit.edu to create MySQL databases using a web interface. The databases may be accessed from any host using any client or script that supports MySQL; you simply need to connect to
sql.mit.edu using your MySQL username and password.

The MySQL service is currently running on the same server as the web script service, but this arrangement will likely change as the service becomes more popular. Please be sure to have your scripts connect to
sql.mit.edu (instead of scripts.mit.edu, localhost, etc.) if you want your scripts to continue working in the future.
