will be the opening production in the brand-spanking new Central Square
Theater and we're hoping you can once again help spread the word to the
STS community.<br><br>
<b>"QED: An Evening with Richard Feynman"</b> opens on July 24
and runs through August 3, and the post-performance speakers include MIT
Professors Robert Jaffe (July 24), <b>David Kaiser (July 29)</b>, Frank
Wilczek (July 31), and Jerome Friedman (Aug 3).<br><br>
Peter Parnell’s moving and funny play about scientific inquiry and the
human spirit was previewed to nearly sold out houses as part of the
Cambridge Science Festival this past April/May and is a production of the
Catalyst Collaborative @ MIT (CC@MIT) a collaboration between Underground
Railway Theater and MIT to enable creative partnerships between theater
artists and scientists. CC@MIT's mission is to illuminate profound ideas
and create compelling theater that is accessible to a broad audience.
Post-performance conversations will be led by world-class scientists from
MIT and Harvard, including some who knew Feynman personally.<br><br>
