<font size=2>Manisha Roy, Ph.D., an anthropologist and a Jungian
psychotherapist is in private practice in Cambridge, Massachusett. Dr.
Roy has been educated in the universities of Calcutta, Rochester (N.Y.),
Chicago, California and C.G. Jung Institute-Zurich, Switzerland. She has
taught at various universities of the U.S. and Europe including
universities of Chicago, Colorado and Zurich, Switzerland and has
practiced and lectured in many countries of the world in both
fields.<br>

<font size=2>Author of over thirty articles and papers, Dr. Roy has also
published four books. Her first book<i> Bengali Women</i> (Univ. of
Chicago press, 1976, 1993) is in its second print and second edition. The
other books are (co-editor) </font> <font size=2><i>Cast the First Stone:
Ethics in Analytic Practice</i> (Chiron, Illinois 1995),<i> The Reckoning
Heart : An Anthropologist Looks at Her Worlds</i> (New Falcon, Arozona,
2001). <i>My Four Homes, </i>a translation of her memoir published in
Bengali is being considered for publication. She also writes fiction in
both languages and published a few short stories.<br>
