Jose Bove, the French anti-globalization activist most well-known
to some for destroying a McDonald's in Aveyron, France, will be visiting
MIT next month. We have scheduled a public lecture for the evening
of March 8 and hope you can join us for what should be a very
stimulating and provocative discussion. More details will follow
soon.
This event is co-sponsored by "Modern Times, Rural Places," the
Program in Science, Technology and Society, the France-MISTI
program, the Department of Urban Studies, and the Kelly -Douglas
Fund, all of MIT.
