SAP has a mechanism for releasing (SPRO Assing Release Approval Procedure
for Parking Documents) but we didn’t use it … you set some configuration
by company code but it wasn’t restricting the FB50 or FB50L transactions.
It did turn off post button for FV50 for the configured company code.</font><font size=3 face="Times New Roman">

I have a new requirement to start the year with, specifically to look at
an Approval workflow for General Ledger postings.</font><font size=3 face="Times New Roman">

to get started. I believe it's transaction FB50, but I need to ensure the
finance document posted is initially parked and the workflow initiated
