Kesari,<br>You are not getting my point.Let me put in this way -<br>User will get an doc number attached say -12345 in a workitem.<br>After this the user can change from 12345 to 12367 in attachment itself manually.<br>Next comes weather change/display mode.Which i can take care of it.<br>

editable/change modes are same, where in you are able to open the document in changemode rather in display mode. <br><br>there is a defaults section in the BO header data, you may check it and follow the earlier steps.<div>

Delegate the BO and create a Change Method and call the change transaction.<br><br>And then Go to header data of the BO, and under Defaults tab, change the default method to your new method "Change".<br><br>And the users when they get workitem, and click on the attachment link.. it will trigger your new method.<br>

Hi,<br>I need to send an attachment which should be in editable mode in a work item.User will receive a work item.He/She will edit the quote in the attachment.Once the user clicks on the attachment it will take it to the CRM UI environment.We are in CRM system.Please let me know the logic for attaching an editable document number in a work item.Since the business object does not hold any standard edit method.The BO would be BUS2000116.<br>
