If you're thinking about purely coming from an ABAP & SAP GUI angle have you tried looking at the old 'Demo' program RSWL_INPLACE_INBOX_DEMO?<BR>

I don't think the SWL_ and RH_ 'INBOX*' FMs have been superceded...but then again things might have moved on.<BR>
<BR>
The main one, RH_INBOX_VIEW_CREATE, would appear to have been kept up to date with the latest Enhancement Packs that we've taken recently.<BR>
