<br><font size=3>You can change the deadline in the runtime environment
by the following method:</font>
<br><font size=3>1. Go to the workflow log for the instance required.</font>
<br><font size=3>2. Click on the task with the deadline monitoring
set.</font>
<br><font size=3>3. Then click on the menu 'Goto' -> 'Technical
Work Item Display'.</font>
<br><font size=3>4. Select 'Edit' -> 'Change' from the menu.</font>
<br><font size=3>5. You should have the option available to 'Change Deadlines'.</font>
<br><font size=3>6. Update your deadline forward to a few minutes from
now and as long as SWWDHEX is running, then that work item should hit
the deadlines you've set. </font>

Our functional testers usually find it tough to test workflow deadlines.
Basically because, it involves changing the deadlines, sometimes testing
logically deleted scenario, sometimes completing wait steps (ex: wait for
two days). So they are dependent on technical team for performing these
actions.</font><font size=3> <br>

What is the best way to get this done? <br>
Is there any option similar to changing sy-datum to simulate these deadlines?
(I feel changing sy-datum itself can be very risky and can create db inconsistencies).
I am looking for any other ways which functional testers can use, without
actually getting into technical data of work items.</font><font size=3>
