secondary method that causes the scanned invoice image to open in the OpenText
Livelink WebViewer. I doubt this is relevant, but...</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN class=286353213-28062010><FONT face=Verdana size=2>* The user creates
the invoice and POSTs or PARKs. The BKPF.CREATED or FIPP.CREATED events are
raised, as appropriate.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2><SPAN class=286353213-28062010>* Either one of
these should act as the terminating event for the step. However, the event trace
is showing that the event handler cannot influence the workflow as the work item
in locked.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2><SPAN class=286353213-28062010>* The work item in
question is that specific step, not the WI_ID of the parent
workflow.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2><SPAN class=286353213-28062010>* The user named
is the user who executed the work item. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2><SPAN class=286353213-28062010>* Therefore, it
appears that the terminating event is unable to complete a step that is in
process because the user executed it...! What is a terminating event for,
exactly...?!</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

not quite happening all the time, but quite a few (next activity: to trace
frequency/users/location etc to see if there is a pattern).</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Verdana size=2><SPAN class=286353213-28062010>The locking
mechanism for the workflow definition is "Standard" - I have not used L3

there is an all-but-identical workflow step in a separate workflow, for

manifesting this lock (next activity: To thoroughly review the two steps to see
