Approval workflow for Trip Expense Reports that sends outlook emails (via a
call to Java) that go to the user&#8217;s Outlook in-box and to their
Blackberry.&nbsp; They can approve or reject a trip from either place, or they
can approve the trip from their SAP Workflow in-box.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

or on a link (from Outlook) and we have a java process calls a function module
to retrieve the trip information that will be used by Java to display the
details of the trip, along with the attached receipt images on the Blackberry
or in Outlook.&nbsp; The Blackberry (or Outlook) user views this information. &nbsp;They
then have the option of clicking Approve or Reject from the Blackberry. &nbsp;<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

function module in SAP that will trigger an event that we created in the ZBUS2089
business object that is called RemoteApproval.&nbsp; The workflow listens for
that event.&nbsp; When the event is detected in SAP, then the approval method
is executed in the SAP workflow and the workflow is completed or sent for
second approval, which is done via the same process as the first approval. <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

they have to enter the reason for the rejection.&nbsp; This information is sent
back via Java calling a function module to trigger the RemoteRejection event in
SAP.&nbsp; When that event is detected, then the rejection fork of the workflow
is executed which sends the workflow back to the traveler for correction and
resubmission.&nbsp; The process then starts again by sending out emails again
to start the approval process again.<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

version of BlackBerry this may be very difficult as different releases of BB
will have varying levels of support for HTML in the e-mail client on the

the emails that&#8217;s easy as the BES will forward all emails to the

the problem. You should also consider how you are going to handle the situation
when the user opens the email and tries to execute the work item without any
connectivity (ie. @ 37,000 feet on a plane).<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
