The standard FM SWL_WI_DIALOG_RESUBMIT is a bit dumb in this area as it merely hands over the value to another standard FM SWW_WI_DEADLINES_CHECK (subroutine check_resubmission_date in INCLUDE LSWL3F01) that only enforces a few fixed sanity checks.<BR>
<BR>
It's a pity SAP didn't chuck a BAdI in there to allow you to prompt the user for a more realistic date based on process-specific logic, but that doesn't stop you from asking for one or adding your own stuff via an enhancement :)<BR>

<P class=ecxMsoNormal>Standard SAP triggers deadline handling at the specified date, regardless of status. However we would like to suspend the deadline when the item is resubmitted. </P>

<P class=ecxMsoNormal>e.g. an item is sent on 24 Jan with a deadline of one week. The approver resubmits it for processing on 1 Feb. The deadline should move to 7 Feb. </P>
