interaction. As such they are typically used to control when a work item
is assigned to the agent and how long the item remains assigned to the agent
before the control of the item returns to workflow.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>SAP Deadline Types:<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class=MsoNormal>Example: Loan Contract processing, with 14 day cooling off
period(Period in which party to which loan is issued may cancel the contract
without penalties)<o:p></o:p></p>

Loan Contract must be processed within 30 days from contract being signed, or
new contract must be issued and the process restarted.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>+ 14 days from workflow start<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class=MsoNormal>Result: If the work item has not been completed by this
date, the workflow deadline triggered and control returns to workflow for
processing of deadline event. Processing defined in workflow definition. Can
be used to escalate processing or remind people that a work item is coming due
