<div dir="ltr">Hi Friends,<br> In my company we are using SAP 4.7 and I insist on using substitution but they are not using that because of authorization issue as we need to change the authorization of the substitute. Instead what they do is simply attach the user to the position and do a user reconciliation so that all the workflow's will be received by both the actual approver and substitute. What is the risk involved in this and how could i convenience the users to use substitution. As mentioned by the other consultants, most of the time the approver leaves for vacation without doing substitution and the substitute will ask as to do this user attachment. Please advice.<br>

<br><font size="2" face="Arial">I have a colleague looking a future Duet functionality, and they are wondering how much customers use substitution in general, and which ones use classification of tasks. With tasks classification you can classify your tasks, and then include them in a subsitution profile. This way substitutes only get certain tasks.</font></p>
<p><font size="2" face="Arial">I've told them that substitution is heavily used -but I'm not sure about task classification. Would you mind letting me know how much you use task classification? And, if you don't use the substitution provided by workflow - do you use something else?</font></p>
