Hi all,

we had an issue on our productive environment which caused several shordumps. This resulted in several workflows in status STARTED. For these workflows, the system tried several times to restarted the workflow (I think by job SWWERRE) which resulted in a new workflow instance. But untill the fix was on production, the new workflows also resulted in STARTED. So now, I have for 1 process about 10 - 15 workflows in status STARTED.

The fix is now on production but I still have a number of workflows in status STARTED.
When I look at the workflows concerning 1 case, the last one is ok and works fine now (1 dialog task in an inbox), the rest is not started again.

1) how is this handled? Is only the last one active and the rest is redundant?
2) how are the 'old' workflows cleaned / changed from status? Is this automaticaly?
3) is there a link between the new workflows and the original workflow which initialy caused the error?
(so I can make a list and do a cross/check and if neccessary, perhaps remove them myself)

We are on SAP (IS-U) 4.6 C

Hope someone can explain it to me.

Best regards,
