I asked a contact from SAP to explain what this functionality was supposed to do and whether we should care about it in ECC 6 as part of our upgrade. <BR>

The answer, it seems, is apparently not:<BR>

It's even disappearing in newer SPs or releases. I found note 1117735 which is saying that this activity is obsolete and was not removed from the automatic customizing by mistake.</SPAN></P></BLOCKQUOTE>
