By any chance could the 'new' Conditions feature be used in this case as an alternative to a terminating event approach?<BR> <BR>
I've been having a peek at SWWCOND job (Condition Evaluation) and the new SWW_WIREGISTER table and can see some potential there to bypass the traditional event queue (with all its limitations and performance overhead).<BR>
<BR>
An example might be to specify a 'Complete Work Item' condition on a wait step should the status of a document instance be found to equal a constant value when the job is run.<BR>
<BR>
I'm also curious as to what other 'applications' could start to appear in this framework (other than 'CND') we might expect to see crop up in future. My initial thoughts were self-registering Workflows for automatic archiving...<BR>

As yet the info on this feature is pretty scarce.<BR>

but there are many dialog workitems in the system already. i can always track their workitem ID but not their status.<BR></DIV>
