And sometimes no. If I were you I'd be sure the current active version of the Workflow is indeed the same as the 'Transport' version in table SWDSHEADER, i.e. you're comparing-current-active-version in system A with current-active-version in system B.<BR>

Occasionally the activation of a definition can fail leaving you with the impression that 'current' WF Definition is the latest version available, which isn't always the case.<BR>
<BR>If you're after definitive reliable proof that two definitions are a match (at least in terms of the step order and task details) you can always try the old trick of 'printing' both definitions in SWDD by using the menu path: <BR>

Workflow->Print->Details <BR>
<BR>
And then do a line by line comparison between the printouts.<BR>
<BR>
This should reassure you that the steps are the same and also help you check for things like binding and agent determination (at the Workflow level) as well.<BR>

As Mike said though, the definition is only the set of rules that Workflow follows. You might also want to have a look at the Business Objects and other code the WF Definition might invoke at runtime.<BR>
