had a very similar issue a few years back (after I loaded support packs…4.6c)
where the event linkage (releasestepcreated) would deactivate with an error
that ‘mandatory import element releasecode was missing’. I
couldn’t figure out what was happening so I submitted it to SAP.
According to the developer looking at my issue, so long as we weren’t
using forecasting and replenishment, the entry in SWEC for releasestepcreated
could be deleted. And once I removed it the problem of my WF deactivating
was gone. I believe that it was note 797775 which related to my issue.
