<div>Depending on what object that field belongs to PO, Shopping basket, Contract etc etc.. you should have a BADI or another user exit before the save. </div>
<div>This is where you can compare the old and new value and pass along to your event. All this is custom code though. </div>
<div>Change documents (SWEC) as far as I know, will only trigger a specified event on change of a field, you cannot obtain old values from Change documents. </div>
<div>Please correct me if I am wrong. </div>
