<div>Involved in a DMS workflow project , an issue was raised about the output of the related documents.</div>
<div>I am talking mainly about an PM environment , prints like for instance a work-order which have connected documents like, XLS , DOC or other extensions.</div>

<div>The customer is interested if an output is produced, a <strong>stamp or watermark</strong> regarding the status or version of the document would be a requirement.</div>

<div>I searched OSS and found several specifications and descriptions refering to "External Document Converter" or an ECL viewer.</div>

<div>I presume the solution lies somewhere in this direction, by converting the document into a print-stream-file or PDF-file, added with the stamp attributes, before printing.</div>

<div>Although this is not directly a wf problem , some of you might have been involved in a solution(even third-party-software) for this.</div>
