color=#0000ff size=2>* No/invalid sender address (i.e. user WF-BATCH - or
whichever user is used to send out the email- ****must**** have a
valid email address assigned in SU01)</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

color=#0000ff size=2>* The mail was sent out but the mail system returned an
error - you can check this in transaction SOST where you can see if the
mail was created at all, and its transmission status from your SAP system to the

following problem which I hope some of you can shed more light on and
which I have tried (I think!) everything in the book to resolve.

client running 4.7 Enterprise version system. The

with regard to a Service Entry Sheet workflow in their QA system (QA1) and
the email notification of an exception to the workflow administrator id. The
error we are receiving (and one which I have seen a number of

be an issue around the SELFITEM Business Object, SENDTASKDESCRIPTION method.
Firstly I should say that in their Development system (DV1) the problem
does not occur making the problem even more frustrating. I have checked and
double checked the following:</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=045511709-02052006>i) The authorisation
access on the Workflow Administrator id in QA1 is identical to that in
DV1.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=045511709-02052006>ii) The email
address supplied on the Workflow Administrator id in QA1 is valid and identical
to DV1.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=045511709-02052006>iii) Email gateway
is setup in SCOT and is ready but obviously the
problem occurs before this.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=045511709-02052006>I have tried to
debug the method process by instantiating it with the instance of
the failed workflow and it seems to suggest that there are
address strings missing?? Anyway would appreciate any feedback
