I'm using FM: SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE. It works well, however when it

it suppose to be COMPLETED. Therefore, I use call FM: SAP_WAPI_WORKITEM_COMPLETE.
Is there anyway to use FM: SAP_WAPI_DECISION_COMPLETE such that it'll result

1. Please don't mark posts as urgent, this is not a support desk. I had
an 'urgent' problem last week which I logged with OSS instead of posting
to a volunteer group.

2. 'Help' is also rather superfluous in the subject, most posts here
ask for help.

3. Please provide enough information. System type, version.

4. Reading available info is often quicker than waiting for a response.
Your answer is probably in the long text of the message, just one click
away:
A form needs a container element in the workflow container to hold the
form data. The container element must refer to a structure. The workflow
container does not have a container element that meets these
requirements.

If a start form is to be created, the import flag has to be set for the
container element.

5. Failing the long text, the online help is surprisingly useful:
Prerequisites
If you want to create a form step, the workflow container must contain
a container element that references a structure. This structure must contain
all the fields that you want to use in your form.

OK, maybe you have done that and it didn't work, but see point 3. above:
"I've tried creating all sorts" is pretty vague. If you don't
come right then tell us what "sorts" you have tried and we can
try to help you further.

Hope that helps,
Hi Shai,

These could be the reasons -

1. The workflow definition is not active.
2. The workflow definition contains error.
2. Check the binding for the main WF
3. Check binding for the event if any.

Cheers
Hi all,

I've created workflow triggered by event BUS2012.RELEASESTEPCREATED. The
workflow works well, the problem is that after it is triggered for
specific PO then its linkage gets inactive.

Any idea why ? How can I check why ?
Hi,

Some times, when I execute work items of standard transactions like
VA01,
VA02 etc. I put break-points in the standard code, to see if some
variables are getting populated the way I want them to. But because of
this, when I execute it through the workflow I get the Debugging
Impossible Exception sometimes. Can anybody tell me why that happens?
Hi,

I have to assign roles to one user in order to execute a workflow. In
fact, this user will execute SAP_WAPI_START_WORKFLOW rfc.

Following sap documentation, I must assign SAP_BC_SRV_USER role to all
user who can start workflows.

But I get the following error: User XXXX has no authorization to start
workflows.

Which role must have one user to be able to start a workflow. User are
possible agents of workflow.

Thanks in advance
Depends on when the container element was created. In theory they
are
the same but...
Always try and create container elements from SWDD.
Hi Jocelyn,

Good news. We can add reveiwers dynamically by calling
the function module BBP_PDH_WFL_REVIEWER_INSERT from
the approver determination BADI BBP_WFL_APPROV_BADI.
But it adds the reveiwers only if the user clicks on
the "Approval Preview" link before submitting the SC,
otherwise it does not add.

Can you please give me some suggestion to get it
triggered without user clicking on the "Approval
Preview".

Regards,
Ram.
