<DIV>Hi Margaret,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>A while ago I was trying to do the opposite - take
an attachment made in <SPAN class=correction id="">workflow</SPAN> and
attach it to the object, to be visible in <SPAN class=correction
id="">GOS</SPAN>. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>It is possible to do what you want. The <SPAN class=correction
id="">GOS</SPAN> object <SPAN class=correction id="">ids</SPAN> are
stored in table <SPAN class=correction id="">SRGBTBREL</SPAN>. You can get the
attachment id and instantiate an <SPAN class=correction id="">SOFM</SPAN>
object and bind it to the <SPAN class=correction id="">workflow</SPAN>/task. I
am not sure about 4.6C but there may be some <SPAN class=correction
id="">APIs</SPAN> that could be used to get the attachment list.</DIV>

Thanks for your response. A better description of my potential requirement: I
have an object to which someone as attached a document via <SPAN class=correction id="">GOS</SPAN>, from the object
maintenance screen (i.e. not in <SPAN class=correction id="">workflow</SPAN> at the time). Later an event on that
object triggers a <SPAN class=correction id="">workflow</SPAN>. Is there any way to make any <SPAN class=correction id="">GOS</SPAN> attachments pass to
the <SPAN class=correction id="">workflow</SPAN> so that they can be listed on the work item?
However, it looks like this question is going to become academic, because we are
now leaning toward using <SPAN class=correction id="">DMS</SPAN> records for the documents. Still, it would be
interesting to know if this is possible.
Thanks,
Margaret
