Also, if you go back to some of this list's archive, you will also see others facing similar integration isssues. In any event, you have to make sure that through SMICM, SICF, and SCOT transactions you have your SMTP server configured and depending on the version of your SAP you may have to invoke some UNIX routines or use native SAP functionality (in newer releases). Here's what I have found in one of the SAP community posts, but haven't tried it yet as it is a fairly sensitive area. </P>

<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>The 99999 will be replaced with 999NN where NN is the instance number. </SPAN><BR>

<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>usertype: service </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>Profile: S_A.SCON </SPAN><BR>

<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>3) Setup inbound processing in SAP: </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>transaction SICF </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>double click on the sapconnect mail icon </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select the "service data" tab </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>enter the working client, the user mail and the password for mail </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select the "handler list" tab </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>enter "CL_SMTP_EXT_SAPCONNECT" </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>save </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select "Service/Virtual host" then Deactivate </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select "Service/Virtual host" then Activate </SPAN><BR>

<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>4) Ask Security to temporarily disconnect the system from CUA and change WF-BATCH to be a dialog user. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></FONT></P>

<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select "settings" - "office settings" </SPAN><BR>
<SPAN class=normaltextsmall>select the "automatic forwarding" tab and create an entry for wf-admin </SPAN><BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"><BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"></FONT></FONT></P>
<P><SPAN class=normaltextsmall><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 12pt; FONT-FAMILY: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-ansi-language: EN-US; mso-fareast-language: EN-US; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA">8) Ask security to change WF-BATCH back to a system user (make sure the password is correct) and to reconnect the system to CUA </SPAN></SPAN></P>
<P>Above all be careful with testing as a lot of people will know that you are working on workflow...this may be less of an issue with sending emails into SAP than the other way round ;-)<BR>
