<P><FONT size=2>This note partially cancels the two restrictions.
Therefore, using the Business Communication Services (BCS), you can now
determine a mail title (SUBJECT MIME header attribute) that differs from
the description (DESCRIPTION MIME attribute) of the first body
part.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2></FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=2>Note the following restrictions:</FONT></P>
<OL><FONT size=2>1. You can only create mails with a long mail title
using the Business Communication Services (BCS). Use the
CL_BCS->SET_MESSAGE_SUBJECT( ) method for this.</FONT></OL>
<OL><FONT size=2>2. Sending the mail must occur via the SAPconnect SMTP
node. The (extended) mail title is not taken into account when you send
via an RFC node since it is not part of the certified SAPconnect RFC
interface.</FONT></OL>
<OL><FONT size=2>3. When you display documents using the SAP GUI, they
continue to be displayed with the title truncated after 50 characters.
The long mail title only appears in the mail client of the recipients
outside of the SAP System.</FONT></OL>
<P><FONT size=2>The changes in this note are only available by Support
Package. A manual change is not possible due to the high number of
interfaces to be changed.</FONT></P></TD></TR><!-- Ende Hinweistext ============================================== --></TBODY></TABLE><!-- Ende Inhaltsbereich =========================================== --><!-- Ende Langtext ================================================= --></SPAN></DIV>
