<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">I have looked at the method that is called and the final piece of code in the method is :</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER RESULT '0'.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">or</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">SWC_SET_ELEMENT CONTAINER RESULT '1'.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">These seem to result in the two outcomes in the workflow step.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">Operation performed successfully (result=0)</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">Operation performed with errors (result=1)</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">In this standard workflow, the method has an export parameter of 'result' type METHRETURN-METHODFIND</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">There is no binding defined for this result value between the method and the task or between the workflow and the task.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">The task in synchronous, non-dialog.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">I have a custom workflow where I am trying to mimic this.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">I have the same set up as the standard workflow, synchronous ,non-dialog.</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">My method sets RESULT to either 1 or 0.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">There is no binding defined for this result value between the method and the task or between the workflow and the task.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">In my step, I only have two available outcomes :</FONT>

</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Trebuchet MS">Can anyone give any pointers as to why I cannot do this ?</FONT>
