<DIV></DIV>>I have a question regarding the SAP standard Annual Leave workflow
<DIV></DIV>>(WS20000081).
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>When a user applies for leave it is approved by the manager,
<DIV></DIV>>after approval the workflow goes into the sub workflow Find Employee and
<DIV></DIV>>Lock (WS01200003), where it locks the records, updates their absence
<DIV></DIV>>quota's etc and unlocks them.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>We are getting an error here for certain users, the step to lock the user
<DIV></DIV>>has a deadline set for ten minutes to send a message to the superior if the
<DIV></DIV>>user cannot be locked within this time frame, the deadline uses the role
<DIV></DIV>>resolution AC168. (I know we have a problem with this Role as it returns
<DIV></DIV>>an error if the superior position is not occupied).
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>> Latest start: Cannot establish recipient upon missed deadline
<DIV></DIV>> Workflow Find employee and lock no. 000000448964 activity 0000000032
<DIV></DIV>>role 'AC00000168': No agent found
<DIV></DIV>> Resolution of role AC00000168 for task : no agent found
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>The deadline doesn't even seem to run, it goes into error shortly after it
<DIV></DIV>>has been approved.
<DIV></DIV>>It seems that the certain employee's records cannot be locked, although I
<DIV></DIV>>can lock them by instantiating the business object EMPLOYEET method
<DIV></DIV>>ENQUEUE, or by testing the function module BAPI_EMPLOYEET_ENQUEUE which the
<DIV></DIV>>workflow uses.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>This makes me think that the whole step is evaluated at runtime, and
<DIV></DIV>>because of these users with unnoccupied superior positions, the specific
<DIV></DIV>>step would then be seen as error, and would not even try to lock the users,
<DIV></DIV>>and force the workflow into error straight away.
<DIV></DIV>>
<DIV></DIV>>Would this be correct or does anyone else have any other ideas,
