Could it be a problem with the negative logic as you've stated below? If the
document type is 'ZBPR', then it is NOT 'NB', so your OR condition is satisfied
and the workflow would start. If the condition is NOT 'ZBPR' AND NOT 'NB'
(instead of OR), then I think it would work correctly. I'm not sure how much
control you have with the start condition editor over OR versus AND.

size=2>Sorry about that. It doesn't error or abend. The
events are published. Whenever I am trying to get it to check more than
one condition value, it seems to ignore all of them and starts the
workflow anyway. For example, I have the condition that if
the document type is NOT equal to 'ZBPR', start the workflow.
Since this is a single condition value, if I create a document of this type
the notification workflow is not started. That's great! However,
if I add another condition value to this and say that if
the document type is NOT 'ZBPR' or 'NB' then start the workflow...even
if I create a document of the type 'ZBPR', it starts the workflow.
Hope that clarified things a little. Thanks for your
help.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>

<P><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>Hi everybody,</FONT> <BR><FONT
face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>Hope someone can help me. I'm on
version 4.6C. My problem is this. I am trying to create a
start condition via transaction SWB_COND for a workflow definition to send
notifications to users whenever a purchase order is created for a
requisition that they had entered. However, not all requisitions are
created by individuals. Some are created by batch ids. These
we would like to ignore. We have determined that only certain
document types (ZBPR and NB) are created by batch ids. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT face=Arial color=#0000ff size=2>The problem is that when I have a
single value in the start condition (ZBPR for instance), it works
fine. However, if I enter two or more document types (ZBPR and NB)
in the start condition, it bombs. Has anyone experienced
this?</FONT></P>
