<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>Hi
Dave, </SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>The
way the system usually works is that selected agents are only considered
relevant BEFORE the work item is completed.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>After
the work item is completed you can only see the ACTUAL AGENT.
</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN
class=559472500-01022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>Of
course the scenario you have described does happen and there are a couple of
ways to solve this:</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN
class=559472500-01022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>1) Use
ad hoc agent assignment (the list of agents is available before and after the
workitem is executed)</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN
class=559472500-01022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>2)
Calculate your agents in advance (e.g. in a prior step, if it's an agent
determination rule you need to call a task/method that calls
RH_GET_ACTORS</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>to
calculate the rule and return the agent list), put them into a workflow
container element (multiline of course based on SWHACTOR).
</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>Then
you can use an expression to pass the list of agents to the step itself, and
still be able to see the original list after the work item is
completed.</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>Which
is essentially part of what happens when you use ad hoc agent assignment.
</SPAN></FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN
class=559472500-01022002></SPAN></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT color=#0000ff face=Arial size=2><SPAN class=559472500-01022002>Hope
that helps. </SPAN></FONT></DIV>

Agents for a Completed Workitem<BR><BR></DIV></FONT>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>Greetings all.</FONT> </P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>I have a question about using the workflow log to
view Selected Agents.</FONT> </P>
<P><FONT face=Arial size=2>When a workitem is in Ready status, you can look in
the technical workflow log and see the Selected Agents, Possible Agents, and
Excluded Agents. After the workitem has been processed and is in Completed
status, you can only see the Possible Agents and Excluded Agents. For
trouble-shooting purposes, I sometimes need to see the entire list of Selected
Agents after a workitem has been processed. However, all I can now see is the
Actual Agent in the log; the option to view Selected Agents is no longer
available. Does anybody know a way that I can determine who the Selected
Agents for the workitem were, after the workitem has been completed? Thanks
for your help.</FONT></P>
